Hey sorry , I've been bad about keeping w/ the blog. This WEdnesday @ IWANNA don't forget it is a half day. We will use our time to do missions. we will collect foood for the local Food Pantry! Get started before your feet hit the pavement, bring some from home!!!!!

Ice Skating 4 3rd-5th graders

Hey everyone,

The tweens really wanted to go ice skating and we had a trip for this Friday on the calendar for bowling, but the drama crew voted for ice skating. Since it may close soon and we need to get this tween ministry off the ground we will go this Friday. Sorry for the short notice.
For 3rd-5th grade only $12- for skating, dinner, & gas

Itenery

4:30pm- Meet at church get in vans & GO

5:30pm- Skate

7:30pm- leave skating

approx-8:30pm

There are 2 forms to fill out. Call me with your email so I can send them to you or come by the office to pick them up.

Parenting 4 the Early Years

Hey everyone,
Listen the parenting for the early years needs to be rescheduled due to a conflict. If anyone is interested in a day or night study let me know. This is a seven week bible study. We will get daycare and the date that works the best. You just tell me if your interested and I will get it going. This is a great study. As a former teacher of parenting classes on the secular circle I really love how this study is more about setting a Christian example for your kids. I know just reading it reminded me of what I knew, but needed to put more attention on applying in my life. Also I love the idea that we moms can get together and share. We all have wisdom in an area the other doesn't.

"And this is my prayer:that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ." Phillipians 1:9-10

Going Krazy 4 the New Year

Wow 2008 is already behind us and the ministry is so thankful for all the ways God has allowed us to serve Him. He has truly shown ALL of His children how worthy they are in His eyes.

So what's up in 2009?? Are we slowing down, taking a break? NO WAY, we are gearing up for so many new things we can't stop praising God for all the opportunities He has laid before us.

January
23rd-Family Fun Night- Bring a covered dish and let us "Dish" out the fun. 6:30pm-9pm

February
1st- Parenting 4 the Early Years- a bible study that focuses on instilling Biblical traits in children. This Bible Study is for parents of 3yr olds-9yr olds. Workbook is $5. Children's Choir is offered for kids ages 3 -10yrs during this time.

1st- Children's Choir- Sundays 5-6pm Mondays 4-5pm

4th- IWANNA FAITH IS BACK
Starts right after school- 4:30pm (it is a half day)
You've waited, you've wanted, and now it is here!!!! Our midweek program has been restructured to meet the spiritual learning styles of our kids. They spoke, we listened, we prayed, and we revamped. Thank You God For your guidance and speaking through the mouths of babes!!!

13th- Parent's Night Out 6pm-9pm $5 per Child
Have a date, take a night off, paint your kitchen, whatever you need to do we've got the kids. While you are gone they will have pizza, fun games, and watch Chicken Little (rated G).
